Last week, our new team members Bettina, Max and Marco visited Michael Kunkel in the König + Neurath showroom. Here they were able to experience all the products on display up close and convince themselves of their quality and functionality. Afterwards, all four had the opportunity to get to know each other better over a leisurely lunch.

Here are a few insights from our dual student Bettina:

“Michael Kunkel gave us a very nice welcome at the König + Neurath showroom in Munich. He started the training with an interesting history of the company. Another big milestone is coming up next year, when König + Neurath will be 100 years old. Another special feature of the company is that 90% of its production takes place in Germany.

Over the course of the morning, he showed us many different pieces of furniture and their functions. Starting with a very comfortable lounge, we then moved on to height-adjustable tables and acoustic boxes. We were also shown meeting rooms and a large selection of samples of the different furniture.
We were able to try everything out for ourselves in detail.

We tried out chairs and lounge furniture, adjusted tables, tested the acoustic boxes and much more. At lunchtime, we sat together comfortably over Chinese food. Last but not least, Michael showed us a table option that fascinated us all. The height can be adjusted using an energy-saving gas spring.

It was an exciting day for us in the König + Neurath showroom.”
