Discover new trends, deepen your knowledge and experience products up close – that’s what the Hauser Academy is all about! Our first Academy 2025 took place in a very special setting: DAS Munich. Here, in the midst of design, architecture and creative work concepts, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the world of modern office design together with our partners Glamox, Création Baumann, Girsberger and WINI.

DAS Munich is more than just a showroom – it is a lively meeting place for the design, architecture and construction industry in the centre of Schwabing-West. Furniture is not only presented here, but also utilised and experienced directly in its natural working environment. The coworking concept makes it possible to use workstations flexibly and actively test furniture. The perfect setting for our Academy with Glamox, Création Baumann, Girsberger and WINI, who not only presented their latest products, but also offered the opportunity to experience them directly in action.

Our highlights from the Hauser Academy at DAS:

Glamox – Smart lighting for modern working environments

Light is a decisive factor for a productive working environment – and Michael Kettel from Glamox has impressively shown us what solutions modern office lighting can offer:

  • Office luminaires with intelligent daylight adjustment and motion sensors that automatically adapt to the conditions and thus increase efficiency and comfort.
  • Stylish lighting solutions, from flexible track systems with spotlights to elegant pendant luminaires that give rooms that certain something.

Création Baumann – Acoustics meets aesthetics

Frauke Meszaros from Création Baumann showed us the importance of acoustics in open-plan office environments with innovative solutions:

  • Acoustic curtains: Light, translucent curtains unfold their full effect in front of sound-reflecting surfaces such as walls or windows.
  • Room dividers & acoustic fabrics: While heavy fabrics provide improved sound absorption, lightweight fabrics create aesthetic accents in modern office interiors.
  • Acoustic panels: Highly effective, design-orientated solutions for various room concepts. Another highlight: the latest trend colours – pastel shades are on the rise again and lend rooms a modern but restrained colour scheme.

Girsberger – classic chairs & solid wood furniture with tradition

Jürgen Mehl from Girsberger presented us with an impressive range of seating furniture – from classic designs to current trend models. We were also able to find out more about their core expertise in solid wood furniture:

  • The tables made of high-quality solid wood impress with their natural aesthetics, durability and sustainability.
  • As a company with roots in the solid wood trade, Girsberger has extensive expertise in high-quality furniture concepts.

WINI – sustainability rethought

Sustainability is not just a trend, but an important component of modern office design. Willi Hinne from WINI presented us with some impressive concepts:

  • SARA – 100% recycled chipboard, which is used in a wide variety of furniture and shows that sustainability and design go together wonderfully.
  • Wood chip heating that utilises wood waste from production – a smart and resource-saving solution for environmentally friendly energy generation.

In addition to all the informative presentations, there was also time for personal dialogue and to gather new ideas for our projects.

A big thank you to all the participating manufacturers and the team at DAS for the great location!

Best regards,
Giulia
