Let’s cook together! – Under this motto, we spent an inspiring evening together with VANK and 12 invited guests at Smartvillage Bogenhausen. Cooking together was not only about enjoyment, but also about exchanging ideas about sustainable materials, future-orientated office design and responsible business – topics that are important to us at Hauser Office and our partners.
Indulgence with a concept: regional, organic & conscious
Sustainability starts with the ingredients. Our menu was put together using regional and organic products – an approach that Mahavi Catering consistently pursues. The chefs led us through the evening and gave valuable tips for conscious, sustainable cooking.
Our menu:
- Creamy chestnut soup with homemade herb oil & cherry water – an aromatic start
- Oven-fresh turkey roll roast with vegetable risotto & miso cream sauce – savoury and sophisticated
- Baked pumpkin with vegan feta, pomegranate seeds & lemon cream – a harmonious combination of seasonal ingredients
- Warm curd cheese strudel Kaiserschmarrn with rum sultanas & plum roaster – a delicious alternative to classic Kaiserschmarrn
Colourful cooking teams chopped, stirred and prepared – in a relaxed atmosphere, they not only created new dishes, but also had exciting conversations.
Smartvillage Bogenhausen – sustainability as a concept
The Smartvillage is more than just a creative workspace – it stands for a working environment in which recycling and reuse are highly valued. Gerd Krohn, CO-CEO & Founder of Smartvillage, describes it as the largest business flat-sharing community in Germany. The aim is for around 60% of the furnishings to be made from recycled or salvaged materials.
VANK – design meets responsibility
VANK has been a close partner for years when it comes to innovative and environmentally friendly office solutions. Their furniture made from hemp and recycled materials combines modern design with sustainability and high functionality.
A special topic was our joint project Patrizia, which Dina Andersen realised together with Hauser, VANK and workingwell. Sustainability also played a key role here – from the choice of materials to the long-term utilisation concept. Dina spoke about her experiences with the project and the importance of sustainable design in architecture.
The full interview will also be available on our website shortly.
An evening full of inspiration
In addition to good food, the event was a great opportunity for open dialogue. The combination of enjoyment, sustainability and inspiring conversations showed once again that conscious design and well thought-out concepts can make a big difference.
A big thank you to everyone who attended, cooked with us, laughed with us and made this evening something special – and of course to VANK for the joint organisation!
Best regards,
Giulia
